Vietnamese Pork Chops

This is much better using pork shoulder than thin chops - we may want to modify the ingredients list?

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbs red pepper flakes
  • 2 Tbs boiling water (heat in microwave)
  • ½ c soy sauce
  • ¼ c fish sauce
  • ¼ c rice wine
  • ¼ seasame oil
  • ¼ c vegetable oil
  • ¼ c water
  • ½ c brown sugar, packed
  • 2 Tbs lemon juice
  • 2 Tbs grated ginger
  • 1 Tbs black pe[[er
  • 8 garlic cloves finely minced
  • ½ scallions, both white and green finely chopped

Marinate at least 12 hours, up to 24.
