Steaks with Red Wine Pan Sauce

  • Steak
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 to 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbs fresh garlic, minced
  • ¾ c red wine
  • ¾ c chicken stock
  • 1 Tbs balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp dijion mustard
  • 1 Tbs fresh rosemary, minced
  • 2 to 3 Tbs beef glace, optional
  • 2 Tbs butter
  • salt
  • pepper

Cook steak in a stainless skillet. Put on a plate and tent with foil

If the skillet is dry, add an extra Tbs of vegetable or olive oil and let it heat. Add the onion and saute until soft, about 8 to 10 minutes. Stir in the garlic and cook for another 30 seconds. Add the red wine, stock, balsamic, mustard, rosemary and glace
