  • ¾ lb to 1 lb penne
  • 3 oz crumbed feta, preferably tomato & basil flavored
  • 1/2 c sun dried tomatoes, large dice

  • 1/2 c heavy cream
  • 2 oz mozzarella
  • 1/4 c parmesean
  • 1/2 c fresh basil chopped

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

Cook pasta one or two minutes less than the directions on the package say. Combine the pasta, ham, feta, sun dried tomatoes, basil, cream and half the mozzarella in a 9”x13” baking dish, being sure to distribute the ingredients more or less evenly. Smooth out the mixtures so it lays as flat as possible in the dish. Sprinkle the rest of the mozzarella on the top.

Put the dish in the oven on the middle rack and bake for 15 minutes. If the top has not browned, turn on the broiler and give it a couple of minutes, watching it closely so it does not burn. Remove from the oven and let cool at least 5 minutes before serving.
