Peanut Dipping Sauce

Makes a little under 1 cup

Serve with summer rolls.


  • 1 Tbs peanut oil
  • 2 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 c chicken stock
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 3 Tbs peanut butter
  • 2 Tbs hoisin
  • 1/2 tsp chili garlic paste
  • salt
  • chili oil, to taste

Heat the oil and cook the garlic for 30 seconds. Whisk in the stock, brown sugar, peanut butter, hoisin and chili garlic paste. Bring everything to a boil and then lower the heat, letting it simmer for about 3 or 4 minutes. Remove from heat and whisk in desired amount of chili oil and salt to taste.
